Designing with empathy university project.
Challenge:
Designing with empathy, redesign an existing service (dating app) for people with dyslexia. Making the service easier for them, but not alienating the other audience.
Insight:
People with learning difficulties such as dyslexia often struggle to communicate through text, due to difficulty reading as well as expressing their emotions.
Idea:
A dating app focusing on the use of voice audio, photo and video. Allowing the change of colour theme of the app, whether just for aesthetic preference or making it easier to see the content.
Allowing users to select a theme colour, helping people read easier when substituting the white background, or simply being able to choose a different colour for aesthetic reasons.
